Lot of displays of animals in natural setting

Probably one of the best random day trips. The kids loved it.. It's about an hrs drive from Pittsburgh. Very informative and basically fun! Just bring your own food because they don't really have anything there

Went to hear their speakers on native plants and pollinators. Such a great place!

Very nice venue for learning about the local environment, bird banding, ecological management and nice hiking trails. Children are encourages to touch and interact with many of the indoor exhibits. Pleasant visit to the Powdermill Nature Reserve.

nice place to go for a short day trip to the mountains
